365 True Things: 218/Rain

Had our first good rain last night and through this morning. I took a walk to the frog pond just now, and it's half full, and the creek is flowing cheerfully. With any luck, we'll continue to get rain—though alas, none is in the forecast for this coming week.

In honor of the first rain, here are some photos I've taken in years past
. . . of rain. It's my personal version of a rain dance. Bring it on, rain gods!

Sorry for the overexuberance of shots. I'm just that delighted to have gotten some serious rain! The good news is, these exhaust my supply of rain shots, so unless I take some more and post them, you won't have to drown in any more for the duration of this wretched experiment.
